2019 James Tower centenary - Victoria Art Gallery

In 2019 Victoria Art Gallery in Bath hosted a major retrospective of James Tower’s work.

Consisting of over 60 works by Tower dating from the 1930s to the 1980s, many of which had never been on public display, the exhibition featured large-scale ceramics, sculptures in bronze and resin, as well as smaller ceramics, paintings and works on paper.

To coincide with the centenary of the Artist’s birth and this special exhibition, Arnoldsche published JAMES TOWER: Ceramics, Sculptures and Drawings, edited by Timothy Wilcox.
